What to know about ETH

Ethereum is the second-largest cryptocurrency and the network behind most DeFi apps and stablecoins. The ETH withdrawal fee depends on network load; some exchanges offer withdrawals via layer-2 networks (e.g. Arbitrum, Optimism, Base), which are much cheaper. ETH markets are usually less liquid than BTC, so differences between exchanges on larger amounts tend to be more pronounced.

Paying with EUR: what to watch for

Euro is the most convenient funding currency in Europe: a SEPA transfer to an exchange is usually free and arrives within one business day, and some exchanges support SEPA Instant. EUR markets are deep on most of the compared exchanges, so differences come mainly from fees and withdrawal costs. Avoid cards if you can: they usually cost 1.5–5% more.
