What to know about USDC

USD Coin (USDC) is issued by Circle; it is MiCA-compliant, so it is available on all licensed exchanges in the EU. It works well as an intermediate currency: many exchanges have cheaper USDC markets than fiat (e.g. Bitvavo charges 0.05% on USDC markets). Withdrawals are possible on many networks (Ethereum, Solana, Base and others), and the cost depends on the network you choose.

Paying with EUR: what to watch for

Euro is the most convenient funding currency in Europe: a SEPA transfer to an exchange is usually free and arrives within one business day, and some exchanges support SEPA Instant. EUR markets are deep on most of the compared exchanges, so differences come mainly from fees and withdrawal costs. Avoid cards if you can: they usually cost 1.5–5% more.
